The Story Behind the Motion

My name is Cody Beedie and I am a 26 year old Photographer and Videographer from Ontario, Canada. Born in the United States and brought into the world of motorsports and the love for cars primarily the Corvette brand, that passion has grown with me bringing an artistic approach to that. Also having the knack for cameras at a young age, those two passions have gradually joined together. I'm a huge history nerd when it comes to cars and motorsports, you could say I am a big fan of the Patina Research page. Aside from the automotive world, I am very passionate about music as well and don’t let me get the Aux on those long drives, cause my playlist will give you whiplash and you will be questioning how someone like me is at a Death Metal concert and the next one being what kids call these days “Divorced Dad Rock” I like to have fun here.

I’ve been a part of some large groups contributing to magazines like Canadian Hotrods and Speed Hunters, But mainly I have been working and pushing hard towards my goal of working in the highest levels of racing like IMSA, INDY, NASCAR, WEC and WRC. I have some bucket list events like Pikes Peak, King Of The Hammers and Baja 1000

For the last 4 years I have been learning the In’s and Out’s of Motorsports of how each series works, Etiquette and learning from other photographers and videographers, even team managers/owners, PR and series officials. The last 2 years I have been heavily focused on making video content for clients as that seems to much more valuable, especially with those that work in PR and marketing.

I’ve always been drawn to the moments that happen in between the focus before a race, the energy of the paddock, the details of a team coming together, and the split second when everything comes alive on track.

What started as a passion for capturing those moments has grown into a way of helping drivers, teams, and brands tell their stories through photo and video. I’m not just there to document what happens I’m there to find the details, energy, and personality that make each weekend unique.

My approach is simple create content that feels authentic, looks intentional, and gives your brand something meaningful to share long after the weekend is over.

From the garage to the grid, from the crew to the driver, I capture the full experience because there’s always more to the story than what happens on track.
